The Sirens Song

Recently, Sirens Call Publications released its sixteenth anthology titled Voices from the Gloom – Volume 2. With ten stories contained within, none of them specific to any theme other than exceptional horror, we wanted to know what inspiration these authors were met with in writing their tales. CarsonBuckingham_PhotoCarson Buckingham has been/is a professional proofreader, editor, newspaper reporter, copywriter, technical writer, stand-up comic, novelist, and comedy writer. She loves reading and gardening; but not at the same time.  Though born and raised in Connecticut, she lives in Arizona now—and Connecticut is glad to be rid of her! Greetings, and welcome to my blog.
To tell you a little about me without, I hope, boring you to tears, I am:
A horror fiction writer
A comedy writer
A former stand-up comedian
A skydiver
A pet lover and gardener
An avid reader and book hoarder
A fan of insects and spiders–I find them fascinating and at one point had 42 different types of tarantulas as pets
An incurable dish freak–I have all kinds and they all get used
A collector of autographed photos of comedians–I have an entire wall full of them
In the event that you still remain curious about me and haven’t yet run screaming into the street, you can find further information on my Facebook page. Why you would want to, I have no idea.
